What We Do:
Reclaiming the Reins was established as a nonprofit corporation with a goal of using horses to assist those affected by PTSD or TBI.
RTR uses equine assisted activities over multiple sessions to empower those affected with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
to take charge of their futures by improving self-awareness, communication, trust, and interpersonal relationships. Activities include ground work,
team building activities, trust building activities, trail leading, and obstacle course work. All work done in the program will be designed to assist
participants with meeting their individual goals and reducing Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms.
